We are raising awareness of the support available for male victims of domestic abuse.
In Liverpool there has been an increase in referrals for men who are assessed as being high risk from domestic abuse and sadly we have a high number of domestic abuse related deaths for males.
Liverpool City Council, as part of the city-wide Community Safety Partnership, recognises the importance of support and wants to raise awareness of the support available locally and nationally.
Paul Lavelle Foundation now has a dedicated male domestic abuse support service space in Liverpool.
