More than a quarter of private landlords in Liverpool have so far signed up to the city’s new compulsory licensing scheme.
Liverpool City Council’s Assistant Mayor and Cabinet member for housing, Councillor Ann O’Byrne has launched the UK’s first city-wide Landlord Licensing scheme.
The consultation about proposals to introduce a licensing scheme for the city’s private rented sector ends on 16 June.
Meetings and drop-in sessions are to take place about the proposal to introduce a licensing scheme for landlords.
Opinion Research Services (ORS) to carry out 12-week, independent consultation on issue, starting on 24 March.
