More than 70 employers and organisations will be taking part in the West Derby jobs fair.
The fair, on 31 October, has been organised by Stephen Twigg MP, with the support of Liverpool in Work and the city council’s Adult Learning Service.
It will take place at the Devonshire House Hotel (10am to 4pm) and everybody is welcome to attend the event at which hundreds of jobs and opportunities for apprenticeships will be on offer.
As well as the opportunity to meet employers there will be seminars and workshops throughout the day including one by Costco which will focus on what employers are looking for.
Premier Inn are also helping job seekers with their interview technique by holding practice interviews.
Stephen Twigg said: “Unemployment is one of the biggest issues that people in West Derby raise with me. I am determined to do all that I can to help provide job opportunities and get those people struggling to find employment back into work.
“That’s why am hosting a Jobs Fair on 31 October. The event is open to everyone and I’m hopeful that many people find jobs as a result.”
