Wheelchair accessible taxis consultation launches

Liverpool City Council is carrying out a review of the current supply and demand for wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAV), and other adaptations or assistance that people using hackney or private hire vehicles may need.

A wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) is a vehicle that’s been converted by mobility experts to allow a disabled passenger to travel in their wheelchair.

We are particularly keen to hear from parents and carers of children and young people with additional needs.

The consultation involves filling in a short survey with your views and experiences.

The closing date is Monday 31 March.
