A celebration of Father’s Day

People in Liverpool are invited to mark Father’s Day this year at Anfield Crematorium.

On Sunday 21 June, the crematorium will be open from 12-2pm for anyone wanting to visit and take a quiet moment of reflection, with a short service of remembrance at 1pm.

The event is delivered in collaboration with the Good Funeral Company, and refreshments will be available for all attendees.

The service will also be livestreamed for anyone who is unable to attend the event. Head to watch.orbitus.com on the day. The username for the service is texi7436 and password is 883828.

Any donations collected on the day will be sent to Anthony Davies Child Bereavement.

The Gardens of Remembrance will be open as usual from dawn to dusk.

The Book of Remembrance is also available from 9am to 4.30pm on weekends, and 8.30am to 5pm on weekdays.

Anyone who would like to view the book but is unable to attend the crematorium can do so online for Anfield and Springwood.

More information about Anfield Crematorium, the Books of Remembrance and other services provided by the council’s Bereavement Services Team can be found on the council’s website.
