A cracking range of Easter activities in Liverpool

As the 5th most family-friendly travel destination in the UK*, why not make the most of the local attractions and greenspaces Liverpool has to offer this Easter. There’s plenty to choose from, take a look at the activities below…

April 11 – The Easter Holiday Activities and Food programme

The programme is aimed at children from reception age through to 16 year olds, who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals. They will be able to access a wide range of activities throughout the Easter break including specific provision available for children with SEND or additional needs. Activities across the city include boxing, trampolining, football, music, dance, cycling, cooking, climbing, films, bowling, arts and crafts, drama, a make-up course, trips out and more! Every day there will be a meal available for every child that attends.

Liverpool’s greenspaces

Extra spring in your step? Take advantage of the number of parks and greenspaces Liverpool has to offer. There’s no better time than now to spend even longer outdoors and enjoy the signs of spring. Golden daffodils, blossom trees and wildlife, there’s so much to see and explore.

Lifestyles activities

This half term four Lifestyles centres have a range of swimming activities taking place. All information including times and pricing is available on the Activ8 website.

Don’t forget, all children under 8 years of age swim free at Lifestyles, but please note that the number of adult to child ratios do apply. More information can be found on the Lifestyles website.

Monday 11 to Friday 22 April – Liverpool Tennis Centre

Brush up on your tennis skills and have a ball at the Easter Tennis camp. Sessions will take place on the indoor and outdoor courts (weather permitting). All levels and abilities are welcome and equipment will be provided. Prices start from £10 per day.

16 April – Candlelight: A Tribute to Taylor Swift

If you’re a Tay, Tay fan then you’re going to enjoy this event. In the beautiful surroundings of the Concert Hall and the gentle glow of candlelight, you can hear a string quartet’s rendition of top hits by Taylor Swift.
