Central Library to host Baby Week 2025 celebration event

Liverpool Central Library is hosting a celebration event on Thursday 20 November as part of Cheshire and Merseyside Baby Week 2025.


Each year, Baby Week brings together services to promote the best start in life, raise awareness of the importance of early childhood, and reduce barriers to access. This year’s theme is ‘Healthy parent, healthy baby.’


The free all-day event, hosted by Improving Me and NHS Cheshire and Merseyside’s Women’s Health and Maternity (WhaM) programme, will welcome members of the public alongside healthcare workers for a day of inspiration, information, and connection.


Attendees can access free family photography, networking opportunities, women’s health and family advice services, family-friendly activities, art exhibitions and special musical performances.


Highlights include:
11am Free Baby Photography
11am Women’s health team, advice services & the Menopause Game
11.30am Singing Mamas showcase
1.30pm LIVE performance from Britain’s Got Talent Finalists, LC Pop Choir
2pm The Darker Side of Pink Exhibition launch
3pm LIVE performance from Britain’s Got Talent Finalists, LC Pop Choir
5pm Performance from women-led the 51% class of 2025 (sign up here for your free ticket and hot drink)


All sessions are free to attend, and no booking is necessary, although sign-up is encouraged for the 5pm session. The event will finish at 7pm.
