Did you know there are a wide range of free fa-boo-lous activities taking place right here in Liverpool? 

Here are some ways you can have a happy,  half-term with a Halloween twist aimed at keeping the big and little kids entertained.

Everton Children’s Centre

On Wednesday 30 October from 11.30am – 1.30pm, Everton Nursery School and Family Centre is the place to be for their upcoming Half term Campfire session. Children, under the age of five are invited to join in toasting marshmallows on the campfire and then explore the forest school area. Free home-made soup is also being providing to families.

Halloween (Thursday 31 October) will see a pumpkin hunt take place at the centre from 11.30am – 1.30pm. If you find them all, each family will receive a real pumpkin to take home. Crafts, Halloween games and snacks is also being provided. There is a small charge of 50p per child. To book your place by calling the centre on 0151 233 1969. Central library has a frightful line up for you…

Andy Green is back on Monday 28 October, with his interactive comedy and magic show. Sessions are at 11.30am -12 noon, 1pm-1.30pm, 1.45pm-2.15pm, 2.30pm-3pm.

Tuesday 29 October welcomes, mad magician and rib tickler, Barrington Powell, with sessions at 11.30am -12 noon, 1pm-1.30pm, 1.45pm-2.15pm, 2.30pm-3pm.

Paul Storey, will be armed with puppets and magic on Wednesday 30 October. Times are 11.30am -12 noon, 1pm-1.30pm, 1.45pm-2.15pm, 2.30pm-3pm.

Also, on Wednesday 30 October Little Sandbox is hosting a tech club for children over the age of 6 years to join in and make a light up card to take home using paper circuits and copper tape. Come to the library if you dare on Thursday 31 October where Sasha Spyrou will be from 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm making lots of spooky crafts.

Let Sal Tonge entertain you with music, stories, and singing on Friday 1 November, from 11am-12noon, 1pm-2pm, 2.15pm-3.15pm.

Why not pop along to a Stay and Play session which take place every day from 11-1pm. All children aged 0 – 7 years are invited along to the fun and interactive play session. They’re a great way to get out and socialise with others.
