It’s (street) party time in Liverpool!

Friends and neighbours in 62 Liverpool streets will be marking the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Weekend with a street party.

The city council’s highways team has worked closely with all applicants to waive road closure fees and ensure the relevant traffic orders are in place for residents to spill out into their approved local area to celebrate the long weekend.

“I’d like to wish all the organisers best of luck for the weekend and I hope their parties are a huge success.”
