Merseyrail Strikes: Be In The Know

Strikes planned for August 24 and September 3 and 5 have been called off.

However, three remaining strikes are still in place for September 30, October 2 and 4.

The RMT Union has announced more strike action which will affect Merseyrail commuters. The next proposed strike date was Saturday 24 August

This would have been a working day for many people, so please take note:

  • There will be no trains running on the Kirkby, Ellesmere Port or Hunts Cross lines during the strike action.
  • Most services will run between the hours of 7am and 7pm. However, there will be a break in service during the middle of the day.
  • Some stations will be closed.

  • Thursday 5 September – CALLED OFF
  • Monday 30 September
  • Wednesday 2 October
  • Friday 4 October
