Reduction in Liverpool Covid testing centres

There will be a reduction in the number of sites for people without Covid symptoms to get tested in Liverpool from tomorrow (Wednesday 2 December), in preparation for the transition from military to civilian operation of centres.

A total of six sites for people without symptoms will be operational, open from 7am – 7pm unless otherwise indicated.

They are:

Aintree Baptist Church, Longmoor Lane, L9 0EH

Croxteth Hall, Flint Drive, L12 0HA (9am – 4pm)

Exhibition Centre Liverpool, King’s Dock, L3 4FP

Lifestyles Austin Rawlinson, Conleach Road, Speke, L24 0TR

Liverpool Tennis Centre, Wavertree Sports Park, Wellington Road, L15 4LE

Liverpool FC Anfield Stadium, Anfield Road, L4 0TH

Work is continuing training civilian staff to take over the operational running of centres from the military and more details about the sustainable model for community testing (known as SMART – Systematic Meaningful Asymptomatic Repeated Testing) will be released later this week.
