Thousands of runners are set to take to Liverpool’s waterfront this weekend as the Everton 10K returns on Sunday 4 October.
To help everyone enjoy the day, visitors are being encouraged to plan their journeys in advance and make use of public transport where possible.
A number of temporary road closures will be in place between 6am and 12pm on Sunday morning to allow the event to take place safely. Roads will reopen earlier where possible once organisers determine it is safe to do so.
With parts of the city centre and north dock area affected during the morning, people travelling into Liverpool are advised to consider trains, buses and active travel options for their journeys.
For those travelling by car, signed diversion routes will be in place around the event route and drivers are encouraged to allow extra time for their journeys.
