Liverpool City Council’s Cabinet met for its final session of the current municipal year this morning.
Led one final time by outgoing Acting Mayor, Wendy Simon, here are just some of the decisions given the greenlight on what was a packed agenda:
- Funding from the Arts Council to support Liverpool’s cultural recovery
- The expansion of LCC’s Without Walls initiative to the whole of the City Region
- A Cleaner Air project to reduce nitrogen dioxide
- Additional support for people who are homeless
Wendy ended the session with words of thanks to her Cabinet colleagues and council officers for “stepping up to the plate” and “supporting each other” during the last two years in particular.
