Why should you recycle?
Using your blue bin properly leads to an easy bin day collection and a better environment.
Right now, Liverpool has the second lowest recycling rate in England. But working together we can improve recycling in our city.
When you separate your rubbish correctly, you not only avoid rejected bin collections but you’re also directly helping your local area become greener and cleaner and contributing to a more environmentally friendly world.

Violence against women and girls is a crime. Anyone who commits it should be reported and held to account, regardless of who they are or where they come from. Blaming communities does not prevent harm. Reporting perpetrators and supporting survivors does.
Liverpool’s stance is clear. Violence is never tolerated, and the law applies equally to everyone. Women and girls must be able to access help safely, confidently and without fear of being judged.
