Almost 900 young people and foster carers were welcomed to St George’s Hall and Anfield for Liverpool City Council’s annual children in care Christmas parties.
The events were full of festive cheer, with dancing, party games and Christmas craft creations.
The party food and treats were a hit – along with special appearances from some of the children’s most loved famous characters, and of course a visit from Father Christmas.
Liverpool Fostering Service would like to thank Aladdin’s Cave entertainers for their amazing energy and passion and Jem’s Dance troop who gave a wonderful performance with some very impressive moves!
Thanks also to St George’s Hall, D’Vine Catering and Liverpool Football Club for hosting and supporting the parties, and to John Lewis & Partners at Liverpool One for their donation of selection boxes.
One foster carer said: “Thank you so much for the party today and thanks for the invite. My girls had the best time ever. It was amazing. Please pass our thanks to everyone involved. It was fantastic.”
