Liverpool residents urged to remember the fallen from home

People are being urged to go online this Remembrance Sunday to pay their respects to those brave men and women who have fought for their country. Tributes paid to Liverpool councillor

Tributes have been paid to a Liverpool councillor who has passed away suddenly. Councillor Richard McLinden had been suffering from Covid-19. He had represented Warbreck since 2007 and was the Chair of the council’s Adult Social Care and Health Select Committee. Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson described him as one of the city’s “best-loved councillors”.
