Mersey Ferries are running special River Explorer Cruises to mark the visit of the aircraft carrier HMS Illustrious when she visits the city next week.
HMS Illustrious, the UK’s High Readiness Helicopter and Commando Carrier, visits Liverpool between Thursday 14th and Monday 18th February.
Blue Badge Guides will be onboard River Explorer Cruises on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th February between 11am and 4pm, giving passengers live commentaries about HMS Illustrious and the aviation history of the Royal Navy.
Come along for a great view – the special Mersey Ferry trips will be getting as close as possible to take in the size and scale of the giant aircraft carrier.
